Hello everyone,


Thanks again for taking part in this phenomenal data journalism course. We hope all of you were able to gain some insightful knowledge on good data journalism and pick up some basic skills to write your first data story.


You might still recall there is an optional data project as part of the course, and many of you did attempt to do that. Some of you have put lot of efforts into it and have now published their stories - Do check them out!


The course has finished but the community is keep developing, and we are going to host the first official offline event based on the MOOC soon - in Hong Kong. It will be live-streamed to all of you - so mark the date! It’ll be July 9th, 9:30-11:30am (GMT+8). We’ll send out detailed agenda soon. Stay tuned!


At the event, we will showcase three best projects from you - and YOU are going to decide which ones are going to take the spotlight. Time to exercise your judgement learnt or sharpened from the course! VOTE HERE.


Cast your votes by June 28th 2016, 23:59 GMT+8. Based on your votes, and if necessary we’ll bring expert consultation, the winners will be announced on June 29th 2016.
